Location

The Viola Residence is located in a residential area of Vrboska, on the island of Hvar off the Croatian coast.

HVAR is an island in the central Dalmatian archipelago. The air temperature in the winter months is 9.1°C; the average air temperature in January is 8.4°C and in July 24.8°C. Hvar has a long insulation ?? (2,718 hours of sunshine a year!).

The gorgeous towns of Hvar and Jelsa are well developed. Modern marinas are located in Vrboska and on the Pakleni Islands. Major areas on the islands are connected by the regional road (Hvar - Stari Grad - Jelsa - Bogomolje - Sucuraj), and ferry lines via Hvar, Sucuraj, Stari Grad and the cove of Vira.

The "Viola Residence" is 45mt from the sea, 100mt by road and 500mt by car to downton Vrboska, where you can find shops, grocery stores , nice restaurants and coffee shops, a post office and a Catholic Church.

In Jelsa, which is only 2.5 km away from Vrboska, there are two banks with ATM service, discos and the harbour office. The quiet isolated beaches of Soline and peninsula of Glavice's are accessible by bicycle and by car or for the more energetic a leisurely walk by foot.
